@XXL The only rappers with Lil' in their name that aren't complete and total garbage are Lil' Kim, Lil' Wayne, and maybe Lil' Cease.

@Cheamane That's a really good point- without any super producers like Dr. Dre or RZA or Dj Premier or Pete Rock or Erick Sermon or Havoc (or even Kanye or Pharrell) it's harder for newer artists to get a sort of cosign like say 50 Cent and The Game and Eminem and Snoop did from Dr. Dre.

@doc_docto @EnterDaDome It's strange how Kendrick is praised so much for being deep when some parts of his albums are barely listenable. Hip Hop can be politically conscious and still have great production- listen to anything Public Enemy made with The Bomb Squad or Ice Cube's first 4 solo albums.

@EnterDaDome Big L was kind of like Nas right before Illmatic dropped- Devil's Son was like his Halftime and Live at the Barbecue and everybody was sure he would be one of the greats and it was only a matter of time before he blew up outside NYC. I think he would have been Top 10 had he lived

@thewallabechamp Raekwon is my favorite of the Wu-Tang Clan, but Ghostface and Method Man are tied for second and GZA and Inspectah Deck are probably the best purely lyrically. RZA is one of the greatest producers ever. #hiphop #wutang
