Almajiri system in the North of Nigeria is intentionally designed to keep the people of the region poor. If it's about Islamic education why do the rich add western education to theirs and turn around to encourage the absordity. The political class cannot standardize the system of almajiri but get them to register to vote even as underaged voters. The education teaches Islam in Arabic language making them feel more Arabia than Nigerian. Few voices against the system are either persecuted or silenced.
The Future of Nigerian Construction: What Must Change
For the industry to grow sustainably, a few things must evolve:

4). Reduced political interference in projects
5). Greater emphasis on quality, safety, and accountability.
The future of construction in Nigeria will depend on standards, leadership, and integrity.

Democracy and hypocrisy walk hand in hand.
Tinubu never loved democracy, most of those of the elected #Nass members are all hypocrites. NADECO was a scam and those who claimed they fought military did so for personal gains. What the "Abacha muke so" were doing is akin to what the people aiding this corrupt system are doing. Nigeria is heading somewhere disasterous.
Opinion: Excellence Should Be Celebrated, Not Hidden.
When excellence is ignored, standards drop.
When it is celebrated, industries rise.
Recognizing quality work doesn’t create division — it creates benchmarks.
It challenges others to improve.
It builds trust and inspires the next generation.
Excellence deserves visibility.
