Is anyone talking about how people who are still taking Covid seriously end up picking up the work slack of people who go on a fucking cruise and get Covid and are out of work for 10 days?

I refuse. If they want me to do my job and Kevin’s job, I get my pay and Kevin’s pay.

@erinrjohnson3 What’s wild is that my cattle dog was a street stray and took right to tearing into boxes whereas my terrier has never not been in a home and will just nose a box around. I’m thinking my street rat survived by tearing to garbage for a while.

@Cranky_Academic This is fully possible. I did use this method to get my older dog to stop trying to attack people who emerged from darkened rooms/hallways.

We all carried treats for months and would pitch them to her. Now, she’s unbothered. I just need them both to take their 15 to a 7.

My dogs hate the garbage trucks. So, now, on trash day, they get little puppy ice creams during pick up.

This is week one. I wonder how many positive association days before they stop trying to attack the trucks.

@nonbinarybooty Fwiw, even with terrible insurance, I got a quick referral to a GI doc for a colonoscopy by saying, “I am missing work due to chronic diarrhea.”

In the US, the “worst thing” you can do is miss work. So, weaponize that if needed.
