I sell call options too, but I do it weekly or every other day (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday). It allows me more control if the stock goes against me, and I can roll over to the next week. The drawback is less premium per trade and more frequent trading.

Borrowing against the stock is a good option if you maintain a good margin for sudden price changes.

Selling stock options is a great income source. It also changed my life.
