County first lady Nazi Kivutha, through her Shina Foundation, has reached out to vulnerable groups along the Nairobi-Mombasa highway with a donation of cash and other items as a cushion against covid-19 distress.
The donation targets 207 beneficiaries organized in nine groups.
Shina Foundation has rolled out a physical and mental health sensitisation campaign seeking to reach hundred's of young people involved in commercial sex work and drug abuse along the Nairobi-Mombasa corridor.
LAUNCH OF MERU EMPOWER CANCER CLINIC
The first lady of Makueni County joined, the Meru County First Lady, H. E. Priscilla Murungi to launch the Meru EMPOWER clinic that will enable continuous cancer screening in their county.

The County First Ladies Association (CFLA) which i chair was feted with the Community Services Award by @KenyaRedCross.The annual award recognizes politicians, individuals et al who have supported, partnered with @KenyaRedCross to voluntarily promote humanitarian work.
I have also distributed sanitary towels to 2000 girls to last each a year. This is to ensure that they are comfortable in schools and don't miss their classes.
We have in partnership with @YouthandSuccess launched a program to mentor 500 girls from Makueni schools in Science,Technology, Engineering and Maths careers. As we motivate them in sciences, discipline and focus are key in being successful.@governorkibwana@OfficialMakueni

We partnered with Aids Healthcare Foundation Kenya & the government to help adolescents and youth to mentor them into reliable and responsible citizens. This took place along Nairobi Mombasa highway in 9 primary and 6 secondary schools. Schools received dignity packs.
