Hi everyone

I’ve been reading the messages and comments from those who reached out to me regarding the hand gesture I used in my recent Instagram Story.

I sincerely apologize for not fully understanding the deeper meaning and sensitivity behind that gesture. I mistakenly believed it was simply a general hand sign used to ask for help in any situation, and I genuinely didn’t know that it carries a specific meaning.

In Thailand, I’ve seen many people use this gesture in everyday situations, so I misunderstood it as something commonly used without realizing its true significance. That was my mistake, and I take full responsibility for it.

This experience has taught me to be much more careful when using hand gestures and other symbols, and I’ll make sure to be more thoughtful in the future.

Thank you to everyone for your understanding. I truly appreciate those who took the time to explain this to me, and I’ll be more mindful about what I share and communicate going forward. 🤍

Hello,

I have read all of your messages regarding my inappropriate use of the Signal for Help, and I would like to sincerely apologize to everyone from the bottom of my heart.

Previously, I mistakenly believed that the Signal for Help was a general hand gesture that could be used in different situations to ask for help. Because of this misunderstanding, I used it without learning its true meaning and purpose. This was my mistake, and it should never have happened.

After learning what the Signal for Help actually means, I felt deeply sorry for my actions. I now understand that what I did may have caused this important signal to be used out of its intended context.

I acknowledge my mistake and I will be more careful and take the time to properly understand the meaning of symbols and other sensitive issues before using or sharing them, so that this does not happen again.
