Plastic bags are a recycling nightmare, but cotton tote bags are around 20,000 times more carbon intensive. That’s why we implemented shared reusable, waterproof kraft paper bags. Minimise the plastic and the carbon by using one when you visit us. #BeatPlasticPollution

#BeatPlasticPollution We keep reusable bottles on our desks and use reusable cups for takeaway hot drinks. Other notable swaps include replacing clingfilm with silicone alternatives, moving to sustainable cleaning, and using shampoo & soap bars, as well as skincare in glass jars!

As part of Plastic Free July, we’ve stocked up on @TwoFarmersHFD crisps, which come in plastic-free compostable packets. When a standard crisp packet takes 10-20 years to break down and these take 36 weeks, it’s a no-brainer for us. Question is, which flavour would you choose?

As #ZeroWasteWeek draws to a close, we've been reflecting on our successes, no matter how big or small.
From refusing receipts and making packed lunches, to school uniform being reused for younger family members, this initiative made us focus on how we can all be more mindful.

It's #ZeroWasteWeek! We already have a 'zero to landfill' waste provider in place, and single use coffee cups are banned in our offices, but this is a great opportunity to consider what more we could be doing.
