Cheers were heard around the world! For the first time ever the Williamstown Black Socks are the Glengarry men’s semi pro softball champions ! Parade plans are underway.
In my farming career, I’ve pulled just about everything there is to pull behind a pick up truck. But these 4 totes seat tenders feel like you’re trying to pull a cruise ship out of the water
Some days just start out better than others! Scouting a wheat field this morning and there was a guy cleaning out his garage and had this for sale on his lawn ! So I came home with an IH fridge!
This tractor arrived from Australia this morning. After a boat ride and a trip across Canada it almost didn’t touch glengarry soil the way I had planned it to. #MasseyHarris
Hey @fourneyview . Remember when we all put our lunch boxes in a cubby, had our blankets for nap time, and toy tractors in the sandbox in kindergarten? Berny is friggin famous now.
Got started at the wheat today and almost didn’t thanks to this guy hiding in the engine this morning. Just lucky I checked. One less raccoon in the world now
Took this picture today for National Geographic of the rarest creature you ever see around here , the South Glengarry grader! Was lucky enough to see it out in the wild for its first time this year on this road.
Don’t you just love finding things like this in the yard. No idea what’s it’s off or where it came from, but you do know it holds an entire machine together somewhere on the farm!
@Shawridgefarm You are correct. I looked into it last winter when I pulled one home from Indiana , through customs and down the 401. No plates or safety on the tender. Behind a farm plated vehicle and it has a specific purpose is what manufacturers told me.
Another grey hair for father moment. This is Lauren’s set up to come home this weekend with a car door that’s frozen and wouldn’t stay closed. Can’t say much cause it’s exactly how I’d have done it too.
Apologies To my neighbours that we might have ruined sleeping in this morning when the air horn locked on leaving the road with a load of corn. Can’t even make this kind of shit up some days around here!
Glengarry will say goodbye today to Kerry McDonald. A truly great man and one of the best farmers I ever knew and had the pleasure to work with! One of only a few ontario bicentennial farms
