To our incredible ISD teachers and instructional coaches who have worked so hard on these lessons and continue to build resources available at https://t.co/tILqKGnii7. 30,000 YouTube views on your lessons within the first 48 hours they are available. #isdstrong
We have received new information from local leaders requesting that schools remain closed through at least April 3rd. With that, the Independence School District is announcing that the return date for students will be April 6th. https://t.co/agjUg71OL4 #isdstrong

Super Bowl Champions! We DO have school on Monday and Tuesday, but will have a Red Snow Day on Wednesday for the parade. No school Wednesday, February 5th. Early Ed Centers and Kids Safari sites are also closed on Wednesday.
Q5: I set some non-negotiables for myself that I will always make sure happen. A few are: turning electronics off at a specific time, and leaving school by a certain time. Self-care is so incredibly important, not only as a teacher, but as humans in general. #WSEBulldogChat
Q3: The habit dealing with being proactive I feel runs very closely with our Stop, Think, Respond language. I try my best to, especially through iBlock lessons, to help students make connections using this language at school and home. #WSEBulldogChat
I very much enjoyed the Camp Read night this year. The ELA based activities that students got to complete with their families was wonderful. #WSEBulldogChat
So proud of Mackenzie Layton for getting 2nd place in the Mayor's Christmas Concert program design! All these 4th grade winter animal portraits bring me so much joy. ❄️ #WSEBulldogs#ISDstrong
A5: I think accountability partners would be beneficial in the classroom in order to have that added motivation from a peer. Maybe at the same grade level or one above or below? #WSEBulldogChat
@WSEBulldogs I would use our data as a big indicator if our WIG is being carried out. I collect data using several check points throughout units which allows me to see what item specs need to be re-taught.
A1: Our WIGS as a team include to continue to use our data to drive our instruction along with using our item specs when looking/ planning with standards we're teaching. I feel that most of my personal WIGS align with those of my team as well. #WSEBulldogChat
A4: Each student has a data document on a Google Spreadsheet shared with them. Here they enter their scores which is where their goals stem from a good portion of the time. #WSEBulldogChat
A3: Goal setting for students regularly occurs during data conferences. These are then revisited the next time we meet. We set at least two goals: 1 academic & 1 behavior. The area of their goals is adjusted based on what is best for the student's progress. #WSEBulldogChat
A2: I am working hard to make iBlock as effective and beneficial as possible in order to meet our readers right where they are at. Shout out to @BethBethiebabes for coming in and helping support our iBlock students! #teamworkmakesthedreamwork#WSEBulldogChat
