@d18_rn @_josephine0_ Definitely untrue, I have worked with several blind typists. Now, it can be used by the blind for placement, same as a seeing person, and aids in speed. Being blind doesn't affect touch typing. Having said that, there are brail key caps out there.

But they certainly do type.
