Every time someone asks for advise on book storage ideas there's so many commenters who want to act special and superior going "um have you tried the library?" or "just use kindle omg." I'm so tired of these fake idiots.

Also lmao many book collectors do check out from a library. I love my local library branches! However not every library will have every book, and also I love owning books that I love or that seem interesting.

I can’t believe people are trying to rewrite the film’s meaning. sure it’s not as “progressive” as it makes itself out to be in a modern sense, but this came out in 1975. That’s a culture shock for a generation that was in the beginning of decriminalizing homosexuality and despite some outdated aspects, it had and will continue to have a huge impact on the queer community as a whole!!

i actually don’t think it’s acceptable regardless of what the relationship outcome is. it’s a book written by someone, it isn’t a book written for anyone in particular. no one is owed anything, put the book down and move on like the adults you are. stop giving these people grace.
