@TaraBull Why not covered?
Because ... a previous American administration removed the law that demanded fair and balanced news casting by ALL broadcasters in the USA.
So ya. That's why.
And now the government is too dis-functional to fix that.
@NikolovScience Lay person here, but I think the biggest risk is to the glacier based water sources, that support significant populations.
Example: Glacier National park 1941 vs 2014
@KevinCastley Some people can't understand that there are more possibilities to make a civilization than just two fossilized parities.
Imagine a place where they used their brains and mixed and matched ideas to find what really works for them rather than one ideology.
Hmm... 🤔
@elonmusk It's funny to watch all the people who did not make the EU struggle to understand why it exists.
EUROPE WAS AT WAR WITH ITSELF FOR 1000 YEARS.
The EU fixed that with a common currency and a parliament to argue rather than blow each other up.
@elonmusk Freedom of speech is great, but does it mean Freedom to broadcast to a global audience for free with no responsibility for the outcomes?
That's is an unknown, because it has never been done until now.
We shall see... 🤓
@MackemSteeve@skdh In the early days self driving will only have "less" accidents than humans, not zero accidents, so It should be about the same. (that's a guess)
Might go down as AI gets better I suppose.
@JasonTFifer@DrFrankTurek No. God wants you to have a sterile life devoid of any external things that might hint to the world that you are different than the rest.
So do nothing. That's a good idea. Ya. That's the ticket.
@Capt_Scorch@redpilldispensr Or the fact that high tide can be measured over time...
to see if it is getting higher on average.
(hint: it is but very slowly so humans don't notice unless you live for 120 years.)
@PeterDClack One more data point for the stew.
105,000,000 barrels of oil per day is the current consumption in oil or equivalent in Nat. gas. (PER DAY)
That is up from 95,000,000 barrels per day about 10 years ago.
