So for one week:
โ Donโt play on PlayStation
โ Donโt buy games
โ Donโt make in-game purchases
โ Skip PS Store purchases
โ Skip logins & purchases
โ Cancel/avoid subscriptions if you can
๐ Support physical games & preservation
The goal isnโt to hurt developers. Itโs to send Sony a clear message:
Gamers still want the choice to own their games.

Sony is moving new PlayStation releases toward digital-only or code-in-box formats after January 2028.
This isnโt just about discs. Itโs about ownership, preservation and access.
If a digital store shuts down one day, what happens to the games you paid for?
Some gamers are even considering Switch 2 or PC as alternatives for long-term ownership.
No PlayStation. No Sony game purchases. No in-game spending. August 23โ30.
