@LongTallKel@paddyjdavitt That's exactly my point...in that scenario, the decent 3rd choice striker covers the minutes that Kvist can't play. If we sign Hogh, 2 out of Makama, Kvist and Hogh will spend most of their time on the bench which none of them will be happy with.
@JonnyBalchin@cjsouthwell1902 So Att has essentially bought majority control of Norwich for c. Β£59m (plus whatever else has gone on in the background) but that money has gone into the club, rather than into Delia and Michael's pocket. A clever way of structuring the deal and an honourable exit for D+M.
@JonnyBalchin@cjsouthwell1902 So essentially the Attanasio's have leant c. Β£59m to Norwich by way of (most likely) a 'convertible loan note'. That means that instead of repaying the loan by returning money to Att, NCFC convert that loan into shares in NCFC of an equiv value to the loan amount. TBC
@TalkNorwichCity He joined in 2021 as a world renowned talent, he leaves in 2024 as a world renowned talent, but somehow we've managed to lose Β£7m. Regardless your opinion of him as a player, that's just not good business.
@SteNCFC 195,012 Ord Shares were allotted to the Attanasios on 24 April which was approved by the shareholders back in Sept/Oct last year and reported at the time. This takes them level with D&M in terms of ownership stake in the club.
@SteNCFC This relates to the share allotment on 24 April and is likely a corrective filing following the initial one. In any case, that Β£10.8m figure is the total share capital of company (i.e. the nominal value of all shares issued).
@NorwichCityFC I don't think enough is said about how much the players clearly love DW - you can tell from the post match footage that he has most, if not all, onside and there's real togetherness in this squad, the importance of which can't be underestimated.
@AliMaxwell_@NTT20Pod This is the problem with having such a potent attack in the Champ. You get promoted with a defense that is unchallenged, and ultimately underprepared for what's to come in the PL. Happened to Nor in both their title winning seasons and will happen to Lei too.
@ChrisReevo Let's not overblow this, Chris. We played well against Leicester and on another day Duffy's header goes in and we draw/win the game. We were completely off the pace yesterday but that doesn't discount some of the great performances we've put in this season. Long way to go.
@JackReeveTNC Think it's time to give Webber some credit as management & player recruitment looks really astute. So short sighted to hound him out last season and I think the minority that did will come to regret it.
@pinkun Really think NCFC fans will live to regret hounding SW out of the club. We were in such a mess when he arrived and though things don't feel good at the moment, they are infinitely better than they were.
