You know what shook me when I was Muslim?

The story of Hosea. God tells a prophet to marry a woman He knows will betray him.

She does. She runs to other men. She ends up enslaved, sold, used up, worthless to the world.

And God tells Hosea to go BUY HER BACK.

To pay money for his own wife who cheated on him, and love her again. Hosea 3.

I thought it was the most humiliating command in the Bible. Why would any man do that?

Then I realized I was the wife.

I gave my heart to everything but God. I chased other masters. I sold myself cheap. I made myself worthless.

And God looked at me, the betrayer, and didn’t say “you’re not worth it.”

He said, “Name the price. I’m buying her back.”

That’s the Gospel. God doesn’t wait for the unfaithful to come crawling back clean.

He pays to redeem them while they’re still dirty.

Islam told me to make myself worthy of God.

Hosea showed me a God who pays to redeem the unworthy.

The cross was Him naming the price.

Praise the Lord.

The information environment today is much harder to navigate than it was a few years ago.

The amount of liars and propagandists on social media, in podcasts, and in media has increased exponentially.

People we once trusted for information have proven that they no longer deserve that trust.

That is why it is more important than ever to investigate claims and stories yourself before you react.

You can no longer just accept what someone says nor believe a headline.

The NDAA nonsense yesterday is a perfect example.

It is quite literally no different than previous NDAAs, nor is it any different than agreements we have with dozens of other countries, but pro-Iranian propagandists from the Quincy Institute and RT (Russia Today, which is Russian state funded and controlled media) pushed the narrative to continue and try to divide us.

It is up to you as an information consumer to be smarter than the anti-American propagandists that pose as patriots or “America First” while they push leftist talking points or the positions of our enemies.

Just ask yourself, who benefits most from damaging the US’s strategic alliances… America or our enemies?

Remember, no one can attack us militarily, so they are putting massive amounts of money and significant lines of effort into psychological operations to attack our minds.

Please fight back by going to the primary source of claims, critically think about them, and then call out those pushing lies.

That is how we win.

I will be attacked for saying this. I will be called all of the names imaginable. You will be able to see it in the comments.

None of that matters.

I’m unabashedly pro-America.

I served my country for a decade and a half in the US Army, and I will continue to serve it now.

I love my country and I will fight for it until my dying breath.

I just got off the phone with someone who served alongside Pete Hegseth in the 101st Airborne. What he told me should end every "he's just a TV guy" argument permanently.

"Every officer I've ever respected had one thing in common. They weren't fighting for a paycheck or a promotion. They were fighting for something they believed was bigger than themselves. Pete is that guy. Always has been."

Hegseth stood at West Point today and quoted Isaiah 6:8 to the graduating class.

"Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, Whom shall I send? And who will go for us? And I said, Here I am. Send me."

He didn't read it off a teleprompter. He delivered it the way a man delivers something he actually believes.

He chose this moment knowing half the country would mock him for it.

He chose this moment knowing the media would call it inappropriate.

He chose this moment knowing it would dominate the headlines for the wrong reasons.

He chose this moment knowing exactly what it would cost him — and said it anyway.

A defense analyst I know who has covered Pentagon leadership for fifteen years put it this way: "The difference between Hegseth and every SecDef in recent memory isn't politics. They all had the same podium. The difference is he actually believes something."

Read that again.

Every Secretary of Defense had the same stage at West Point. Only one walked out and told the next generation of officers that service is a calling, not a career.

Greg Locke's accusations against Kenneth Copeland and Joel Osteen are too serious to ignore.

I don't share this in a lighthearted way. If children are in danger and victims are left undefended then those who can do something should do something. If Greg is telling the truth, then he can do something. If he is lying, he needs to publicly admit it. But I've learned too much over the past year and a half to just ignore such strong accusations accompanied by claims that Greg has proof to back them up.
