Helped Astarion ascend on my latest playthrough. I haven't felt this guilty since I first did the "I'll Be Back" achievement for Detroit Become Human. Doesn't help that I know I'll feel worse by the time I'm done as I'm picking up those Bhaal trophies along the way.
I might not be a goddess of magic. But did Mystra give Gale all the spell scrolls he could ever dream of alongside the gold to copy them down into his spellbook like some sort of Elf Sugar Mommy? I think not. (Just ignore him having to use my hand-me-downs.)
Not me rolling back over 4 hours worth of progress on BG3 because I'm working on one pain in the ass achievement and missed something. (And I'm not going to leave it for another playthrough, because there's enough shit to worry about.)
And I'm going to give a shout out to The Forgotten City (by @ModnStoryteller) (though this one is BAFTA nominated so again, skirting that 'well known' rule.) And Chicory (by @chicory) They're more inclusive than outright forward LGBT+ stories, but both games are worth playing.
I wanted to make a nice "Top 10" lesser known LGBT+ games to play for Pride Month. (AKA - those games that either aren't big RPGs or the Indie Darlings everyone knows) But I kind of ran out of time. So here's what I have instead:
Arcade Spirits and Arcade Spirits: The New Challengers (by @ArcadeSpiritsVN ) I feel like this one is fairly well known, and I'm kinda cheating. But hey, the second game really goes HARD on your LGBT+ options. (Though, to be honest, I prefer the narrative arc of the first game.)
@vetty_y_y Oh, I've been debating if I wanted to watch it or not. Not a huge fan of Charlotte in the main show, but I've been in the mood for some trashy romance, and the movies I've tried haven't delivered
#NSFW Of the things I expected from this game, surprise, limp aubergine wasn't one of them. (Dude is voiced by Solas's voice actor too, so double the fun!)
My dad stealth took a picture of me when we went out for our birthday dinner (his birthday is three days after mine) and posted it on social media. I look like a thumb desperately trying to become a troglodyte - but my tits look pretty good. So it's only 9/10 bad.
@bidibooooo Yeah Unfortunately, Seyka falls into the writer trope of the "I'm better than you" attitude. Which is always a negative for romance but is often ignored as a "fun" trait instead of one to overcome. They did at least minimize it in HSB, but I have to wonder why they had it at all
I bought myself Horizon Burning Shores for my birthday. And like the rest of my birthday week, it was the narrative experience of eating a Pop Tart without putting it in the toaster. Intensely Okay. Once the myriad bugs are fixed, it'll be Intensely Fine.
