@fplrhinos Funky caps used to work, I don’t quite know what changed. The field maybe, EO makes everyone conform so when it goes against you the loss is massive. Managed a Muñoz 14 pointer cap. What did 🤖 score that week? 14 of course
@eytexi Just an amplification of the problem of all fantasy games, they’re not priced for the game mechanics, they’re priced for engagement. One of the reasons I quite liked DefCons as maybe the only person around - it forced a rethink of the points scoring if nothing else
@dis_fpl@FPL_Spaceman@SolioAnalytics It’s a bit unclear from the description, but if these are the top FPL scoring (football) players, then the top 5 highest scorers (so far) has an average of 207.5 for the 25/26 season. Something seems not right here, unless I’m missing something in what this is meant to show
@dis_fpl@lainesco_fpl@FPL_Spaceman@SolioAnalytics Right, that’s what I thought. But the avg score of Haaland, Bruno, Gabriel, Semenyo, Rice isn’t below 200 points, unless this is adjusted for DefCon or something. Maybe it’s still lower, but not this drastically

@lainesco_fpl@dis_fpl@FPL_Spaceman@SolioAnalytics You look at the color of the line, then you know the N number of top scoring players it depicts, average points of those N players, and the season it pertains to
@fplrhinos That wasn’t the same Wolves though. Yes they had lost to City, Bournemouth and Chelsea, but they had also drawn Man Utd, Newcastle and Everton, and went on to beat Villa and Liverpool. Personally was hoping as many as possible would TC Gabriel, but of course some hindsight also
@fpl_tactician@FPL_Wrapped_X I couldn’t agree more, but the upside there to me seems more like 5 maximum. To score another 5+ against CP (without sacrificing the defense, which you couldn’t against a team like Palace) seems outsized for Arsenal. If you were talking about City I’d be on the same page
@fpl_tactician No no, but seems a tall order to go from producing not so much to scoring 10+ goals in two games. Everything is possible, but it’s such a radical shift just don’t think they have it in them
