1) The FA Cup quarter final draw :

These matches will decide which teams reach the FA Cup semi finals.

2) Why this affects FPL Gameweek 34

The FA Cup semi finals are played on the same weekend as Gameweek 34.

That means:

If a Premier League team reaches the FA Cup semi final:

• Their GW34 Premier League match is postponed
• Their GW34 opponent also blanks

So each semi final team causes TWO teams to blank.

Example concept:

If Arsenal reach the semi final:

Arsenal blank in GW34

Their GW34 opponent also blanks

3) How many teams could blank in GW34

There are 4 FA Cup semi finalists.

So maximum impact:

4 semi final teams

4 league opponents

-> Up to 8 teams could blank in GW34

Here's how Gameweek 34 is looking after the FA Cup 5th Round.

If West Ham reach the FA Cup SFs, I'd expect West Ham vs Everton to move to the midweek in GW34 and therefore not be a Blank fixture, but for the other GW34 postponements it'll be hard to predict whether they'll move to the midweek in GW34 or move to a different Gameweek (most likely GW33) if neither side reaches the quarterfinals of a European competition.
