Could maybe upgrade back up keeper for the bench boost, but I think the team is working well as it is 👍

@mrdrdavid @FPL_Harry Nice draft, Rice is overpriced imo, think there’s a lot of good midfielders you can get for cheaper such as the highly owned Szobozlai.

Prefer Thomas to Van because attacking fullbacks haven’t translated well to the premier league historically, plus Thomas could be a dc machine.

@AndyDaviesSport @FPL_Harry With two sets of chips with the first set having to be used before GW19, it makes early chip usage way more viable.

A big positive of planning for a BB this early, you don’t need to wildcard to set yourself up for a BB because you can just use your initial draft instead 👍

@sawon474 @FPL_Harry I’ve seen recent reports of his dad apparently saying he’s staying at Everton, but the move can still happen.

He’s more a placeholder for me at the minute, lots of good 6 mil midfielder options :)

@chazelblazel @FPL_Harry Definitely could be, problem is if Calafiori comes off the bench late in games for the 1 pointers.

We should have a better idea of who’s most nailed in that back line after pre season, I’ll be watching the minutes of these players closely.

@chazelblazel @FPL_Harry There’s still a place in FPL for attacking players but Van ewijk just untested in the premier league, would be hard to keep up those returns form last season.

I’d love Calafiori if I knew he was nailed, got Hincapie there who could take games off him.

Van ewijk is good but we’ve seen in the past that attacking fullbacks haven’t translated well to the premier league.

I’m thinking of Leif Davies of Ipswich two seasons ago!

@FPLgutfeeling @FPL_Harry That is true and is a risk we take, bench boosters are usually wildcarding early which can help build transfers closer to max early though.

An injury to a player with high value will almost always be worth the transfer out immediately regardless of bench boosting or not anyway.

@SaladFpl @FPL_Harry Yeah, you’ll mostly see people planning for WC4 or WC6, for using it early anyway.

I was WC3 but it’s hard to deny that WC4 just makes more sense.

Could get you ahead early if Haaland is flopping, but historically he plays very well at the start of the season.
