@howie_hua I love this and want to immediately teach it today! Except we have assessments so I'm not going to risk confusing them by throwing something new at them. Next term though!
E te motu - we’ve reached more than one million people on our Māori Language Moment 😍🌟 From our biggest cities to our smallest towns. This is the largest single celebration of te reo Māori in our history. Kia ora Aotearoa! 🇳🇿 Kia kaha te reo Māori! 🌈🖤🎺✨
✨ It's Te Wiki o te Reo Māori ✨ Kia Kaha te Reo Māori! Heaps of resources and ideas for making the most of this special week can be found here: #TeWikiOTeReoMāori https://t.co/dQFSecOffF
@mrbartonmaths Hi Craig, I hope you are well. I’ve collated all my GCSE/IGCSE ‘worked example, your turn’ slides with answers. One click gives your turn, one more click the answer. Freely available on TES, I hope it saves some teachers time: https://t.co/dgyhjGUeqz
In 1972, 30,000 signatures were delivered to Parliament to protect te reo Māori. It was a defining moment for our reo. Today, we want to grow one million speakers by 2040. We’ll start with a defining moment. Our Māori Language Moment. Be one in a million. https://t.co/sJMhDokt7K
@Chadillac60@stoodle If you're using youtube to deliver the video then start with the automatically generated closed captions and then edit/correct them. Otherwise there is free subtitling software available but has a learning curve.
@MissDtheTeacher I'd love to find out more about this planner and how you teach it to students. I'm putting together a time-management resource for my students as so many struggled with that part of online learning.
When you have a great online class and after 15 minutes they're all 'yes we totally understand now '. So everyone enthusiastically agrees to learn the next step and 20 minutes later...
I've been offering my students a packet of m&m&s for a correct estimate before the clues. Still no winner after a week but the cheering from the while class when the answer reveals is brilliant!
In about 1 week, I'll share a completed Multiplication Course - entirely free - on my YouTube channel. It will be available for students, educators, and parents. It's organized in chapters (playlists) like this... stay tuned!

Research can't tell teachers what to do—classrooms are too complex for that ever to be likely. But research can identify "best bets" for improving practice, and the Great Teaching Toolkit Evidence Review is pretty much the state of the art in this regard: https://t.co/FJXMJ8NuxL
