I'm absolutely thrilled by the papers and workshops we have for 'Global Gender Nonconformity, Past and Present: Language, Labels and Ways of Knowing'. Please join us on Zoom on Thursday 10th June: it's free to all!

Another great session of #TQGNF yesterday. This time, we really got into the question of what narratology can (and can’t) do with trans/queer narratives. Great talks by @GermanUrchin, Elsa Adan and Joonas Sännti and lovely keynote by Sue Lanser followed by a thought-provoking Q&A
Yesterday we got to hear some fantastic talks about queer temporalities, trans bodies, non-binary identities, narrators and gazes, and gender queering in contemporary novels, second-wave feminism, Ancient Rome and 18th century Methodism...
Our first session of #TQGNF21 is tomorrow! The scheduled talks have been swapped around a little in the inevitable pre-conference last-minute way - tomorrow we have @chrismologos @spacedolphin__ , Nemo Gorecki and Carolina Sanchez-Palencia speaking, with a keynote by @Anasemia 🤩
Programme and registration link for the symposium are available!
Can't wait to hear what these fantastic speakers have to say about gender and form 💚

@DawnGillighan Hi! Not for this event, unfortunately I’ve already had to reduce from the the number of papers originally accepted! I hope to do another iteration in the future though :) And registration will be free and open to everyone
The ‘FQT Narrative’ Conference has officially morphed into the virtual ‘Trans/Queer Gender and Narrative Form’ Symposium (15th, 22nd and 29th April 2021) - programme and registration link coming next week!
Sadly, we've had to cancel the conference with a view of rescheduling it for April 2021. Hopefully this will mean that, in addition to the original speakers, many more will be able to participate. Stay safe everyone!
Overwhelmed by the quantity and quality of abstracts and panel proposals received...it's shaping up to be an excellent conference. If you haven't had the chance to submit but would still like to I'll be accepting submissions until the 11th! - https://t.co/m38bdXJqq5
Last couple of days for abstracts and panel submissions! So many exciting proposals have started to arrive and are giving me a glimpse of what the conference could look like...keep them coming 🤩
