Even with evidence, one has to ask if a random x post is actually the method by which you would hope to effect the accountability needed, and if not directed toward a good end, even a true accusation lacks charity.

For traditional monotheists, the uncaused-cause is the origin of all reality.

@mitch_is_tired Most of the additional "weapons/toys/tech" that police carry now vs 20-30 years ago actually give greater non-lethal optionality than existed prior. Also, tech like load bearing vests allow officers to avoid on the job injury.

As a pastor, I have seen an organic shift from receiving on the hand to receiving on the tongue. My approach has been to empower the lay people to receive in whatever manner is permissible by Holy Mother Church.
