Chelsea season are almost identical. They’ll blitz first half of the season and fall apart in March/April.

@Umamifr @AfcElitefan5821 That’s exactly what I’ve been saying. Eze is Martinelli replacement at LW. Madueke can also play LW if we want large ground coverage/opposition high line. Which means Dowman covers Saka. And Nwaneri replaces Eze coverage at 10.

To most people that doesn’t make sense though…

Moreover, no one in their right mind is paying more than €15m. His injury record is shocking. His output has been worse.

Given his wages and contract status (1 year remaining), €10m is fine

Martinelli was entirely ineffective outside of UCL. Jesus played like 3 games, minimal GA. Trossard physically declining. We’re in a good place

This Chelsea side remind me of 22/23 Arsenal. Very good attacking side, fluid, score tons of goals. Too leaky at the back. They’ll blitz first half of the season, maybe even be top come Christmas. But ultimately think the league will sus them and they’ll have an average 2nd half
