@edfenergy how can I get a callback for your move in line? Been in a queue for 40min, only to be hung up on... :/ will try again, but my next call is to a competitor
@AzureDevOps most of the events on the status page only say that the event was mitigated (e.g. https://t.co/3LAiuNAne4). Is it related to the wider MS outages that hit the news? Most likely, but I don't see anywhere where you're explaining this.
@AzureDevOps there have been quite a few outages recently, especially in Europe. Can you give any more information on this? Would be nice to see a blog post on some recent outages.
@AzureDevOps doesn't really answer anything - I'm not looking for information on specific outages, but to understand why you're having so many recently. A lack of openness around this doesn't really lend itself to raising confidence.
@NatWest_Help any reason why you can't change your address on online banking? Just says that the approval in the app is temporarily unavailable every time.
@drawio hey any good docs on using https://t.co/q9rESYzUSL from a code first perspective? I.e. diagramming as code, where the code will get regular updates? Used plantuml and mermaid in the past, but mainly use you these days. This is the missing piece for me ATM!
It feels really objectionably stupid for great people to have to leave companies they love because of org chart inflexibility.
But every exception and one-off creates it's own organizational debt, and often cynicism and equity issues over special treatment.
@github @GitHubHelp looks like quite a major service degradation/outage (2nd this week) with nothing mentioned on your twitter feeds. Are you able to provide any more info here?
I'm trying to optimise my time and energy in work by asking:
1. Can I ignore this?
2. Can I delegate this?
3. Can I defer this?
4. If I have to do this can I:
- Decompose this?
5. If I have to do this more than once can I:
- Can I simplify this?
- Can I automate this?
Anyone got a good, simple, visual presentation on STRIDE and threat models for developers? Want to do an intro session, and everything I'm finding looks like a defence of an academic paper from the 80s. I know it exists, colleagues have shared them with me when training me! :)
