POPULAR POLITICIAN GEORGE GALLOWAY told the British he is ready “to return as your prime minister”—and will adopt Chinese economic growth methods on UK soil.
“We believe the current Chinese model of a mixed economy with the state playing a guiding role as the guarantor of the national interest is the best model as China’s unprecedented success illustrates,” he said in a message on multiple media.
Galloway said he was ready to take the place of Keir Starmer—who resigned on Monday—and would enroll Britain in BRICS and the SCO.
That’s rather good idea. BRICS is rising fast, and is already the world’s biggest bloc in terms of population. And the SCO, a China-led security group, is now three times the size of NATO, in terms of coverage.
The likeable politician has been out of the UK for months, and has spent a lot of time in China.
He called the new stance of his party, the Workers’ Party GB, “socialism in British characteristics” – an echo of China’s “socialism with Chinese characteristics”.
Punters say it is extremely unlikely that Galloway will get the top job – although he is a battle-hardened warrior who has been in parliament seven times. But he could certainly play a strategic role by making coalition deals with other small parties.
And he is liked by many people, known by everyone, and has a reputation for being a straight-talking powerful orator with strong values—the opposite of Keir Starmer, who tried to please everyone, and just annoyed all sides.
@VietQNguyen@RayDalio China doesn’t want all the dirty manufacturing anymore. They have been pivoting away for years already. China is moving up the value chain. VN was the first in the world to call trump to beg to reduce the tariffs, and trump mocked VN for it.
@VietQNguyen@RayDalio No major investors are investing in VN buddy. The top 3 choices are China, China, and China. Small investors go to VN, India, Mexico etc. “Made in VN” 😂
If you are wondering why the far-right forces in #Japan are still disturbing today, look at this👇
Some Japanese fans were cheering with the Japanese Nazi flag at the World Cup.
Japan used the Rising Sun flag during its invasions of Asian countries, including throughout the Pacific War, and the flag is widely regarded as a symbol of Japanese militarism and imperialism.
What is true freedom?
We often hear than the United States has freedom and China doesn’t but what’s the most important aspect of a “free” society? Safety
I’m enjoying a nice afternoon in a local mall in Guangzhou and people routinely leave their bags, computers, purses right on the table in the open with no worries. Why? Because no one in China will take this laptop.
Try that in the US and your laptop would be gone in a couple of minutes. It’s one of the things I most respect about China.
@VietQNguyen@RayDalio You should. If China were to pull the trade plug on VN’s economy, VN would litterally collapse overnight. “Never bite the hand that feeds you”
@VietQNguyen@RayDalio You clearly show signs of complex. Whatever bad experience you had before to make you so hateful, I hope you get over it. Enjoy typing on your Chinese-made device.
@VietQNguyen@RayDalio Very weak response. Chinese legacy is so profound to VN’s genetic makeup and culture from ancient history to modern day. Enjoy the Hanoi metro system 🚇 made possible because of China. Be grateful.
@VietQNguyen@RayDalio China ruled much of Vietnam for over 1000 years. Most of Vietnamese today have Chinese ancestry in some form. Don’t self-hate. Today, VN wouldn’t be able to grow without China. I hope you are enjoying the Chinese-built Hanoi metro 🚇.
@k1billion@RayDalio Human capital used to be a strength, but it’s now a burden especially in the advent of ai. China had 40+ years of undisturbed rapid growth. India has barely enough toilets installed. Ai has arrived to take all the jobs, good luck growing with mass unemployment and Dalit class.
