Henry Cavill's Bond ship has sailed. At 42, he acknowledges the age issue and has pivoted his interests.
"I am 42, I'd probably be considered a bit old for Bond role. I would love to be a Bond villain," he said.
Ironically, Casino Royale's director revealed the opposite problem years ago. "He's in good shape. He did well in the audition, but ironically he was too young."
25 years ago, Queen Elizabeth broke with tradition and ordered the US National Anthem played at Buckingham Palace.
Today, by command of The King, that same anthem rang out again on the anniversary of 9/11.
The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester stood in for His Majesty, joined by US Ambassador Warren Stephens.
Never forget. 🇬🇧🇺🇸
Paul Simon pays tribute to 9/11 by performing "The Sound Of Silence".
A native New Yorker, you can see the deep emotion in Paul's face as he sings.
Heartbreaking.
Si hubo un momento histórico en el mundo de la música, ese fue cuando Depeche Mode cantó en la azotea del Worl Trade Center. Un minuto de silencio por todas las victimas que muerieron en este lugar hace 25 años.. and enjoy the silence.
Apple CEO Tim Cook says neither a degree nor coding skills get you hired at Apple :
"People that code, People that don't" . Even though he calls coding "the only global language that we all share."
Instead, he screens for three traits: collaboration rooted in deep belief that "one plus one equals three," genuine curiosity about how things and people work, and creativity that lets people "see around the corner."
The logic is that research tells you what customers want today, but only a person can sense what they'll need in three years.
As Cook puts it, the goal is to "get ahead of the curve" and together these traits make a great team player.
