One day, I listened to one of his interviews. I don’t remember where I watched it but I know it was on YouTube. And he said something;
He said he used to go to some mountains in Accra and pray in his low moments. And he told God that if he blows again, he will mention God’s name everywhere.
If you wanna know why he keeps saying “GOD IS HERE”, I wanna inform you that it’s his personal covenant he has with God. That’s why you’d see him praying for fans before the “On God” outro is played when he’s closing performances.
@shattawalegh whatever that you touched in your low moments has really worked. And you have really taught us the power of retreat, discipline and persistence. If you gave up, Ghana would have lost an iconic figure in our music space or even in our society.
Thank you for not giving up. Ghana 🇬🇭 is forever grateful ❤️
A difficult night in Bouaké.
We appreciate your support, as always. Our focus now turns to The Gambia in Accra on Tuesday, 29 September.
