My friend was writing his thesis around an abbattoir in Abuja where a vet doc found out a cow had contracted Anthrax.

He asked that the cow be burnt and buried and the place cordoned off but some butchers dismissed his demands and all 5 of them died.

I remember when we had a goat d!e on the farm. I wasn’t sure what caused it, so I told my staff to cut off a small sample of the meat for laboratory testing and bury the rest in my presence.

Later that day, when I got home,I check the cctv camera and I found out they had dug the goat back up, cooked it, and shared it among themselves. I wasn’t even surprised.

On my next visit, I decided to teach them a lesson. I said, “Thank God none of us ate that goat. The lab found it had tested positive for HIV.”

Panic broke out instantly. Some couldn’t even speak. A few were already in tears. I kept asking, “What’s wrong?” until one of them finally confessed:

“Please don’t let us d!e… we all ate the goat.”

That was when I reminded them why following instructions are non negotiable on a farm. I told them to pray and fast for 3days
