You cannot rehabilitate a person that beheads a person.
You cannot rehabilitate someone that offs people for sport.
You cannot rehabilitate someone that kidnaps and rapes children.
I will not force my kids to go to church as my mum did to me.
All I know is I’m locking an empty house at 8am every Sunday and I must not reach church before you.
Nigerians don’t really grasp the magnitude of the problem we’re in, which is why everyone is still suffering in silence.
In the span of three years:
Fuel went from ₦200 to ₦1,400.
Spaghetti went from ₦200 to ₦1,300.
Eggs went from ₦50 to ₦300.
A kilo of chicken went from ₦2,500 to ₦7,500.
A kilo of turkey went from ₦3,500 to ₦11,500.
A self-contained apartment went from ₦350k to ₦1 million.
A mini flat went from ₦650k to ₦2.5 million.
A plate of rice and chicken went from ₦2,500 to ₦7,000.
Local flights went from ₦60k to ₦300k+.
Federal university school fees went from ₦30k to ₦150k+.
I can go on and on. Mind you, this is his first tenure, and he’s actively campaigning for a second term. Honestly, if we truly understood the magnitude of the problem we’re in right now, we would be on the streets, at the National Assembly, on major flyovers, and at airports, taking action.
By the time most of you fully grasp the damage this man has done, you’ll probably be in your 40s and might end up settling for a mediocre life.
You cannot be in your right senses and be supporting a government like this. It is not possible.
Less than a decade ago, it was common to see self contain for N250k, one bedroom for N400k to N600k and 2 bedrooms for N700k to N850k.
Now, if you no hold N3m, discussion never start.
Stop using church people as the reason you don’t go to church anymore.
There are messy people at your job too… but you still show up for work every day. 🫢
I went to school when Goodluck Jonathan was President. That was during Nigeria's economic boom. Yet, I saw people struggle to pay N12k for school fees. I saw people come to school with N2k, N5k as pocket money. Some came with foodstuff and "remember the home you came from."
Flight to Benin was between N12k to N18k. I usually went to school, filling the biggest travelling box with provision, and it cost me N30k to do that. My pocket money was between N25 to N30k and it was sufficient. I was feeding my friends in hostel and was named most generous person in the hostel. I went to a to secondary school with children of the rich, so I already knew the other reality of life. What I was seeing in UNIBEN was a far cry. To do everything I listed above today, you need over 500k because this government has plunged us into darkness.
Now, in 2026, when our lives should have significantly improved from the progress made by the GEJ government, we went from the clueless Buhari to killer of hope Tinubu. Exchange rate is over the roof. Flight is exorbitant. Feeding is a luxury. School fees is out of the reach of two income household. People are dying daily because they cant afford health care. The government is taxing people to death. Yet, we have clowns defending the cost of living in a country that minimum wage is N70k.
Meanwhile, the money released for health care of 200m people was N36 million naira. NNPC stole N210 Trillion but it is the masses that should be taxed to raise money and the masses that should have to endure economic hardship and pay exorbitant fee to get the available poor quality education. Today, people are paying above 100k to 500k for public education. Nonsense!
I am very convinced you people defending this are mad and with all due disrespect, you're very mad.
Adults are doing diets and running every morning, but we are packing 10 cubes of sugar into our children's pap. We are inviting type 2 diabetes to a party that hasn't even started and we need to have a serious conversation about our children.
In Nigeria, we have turned a fat child into a sign of wealth, and a slim child into a sign of suffering.
When a child is dangerously heavy, items always "leave him, it is just baby fat, he will outgrow it." But we are making a terrible mistake. We are overfeeding our children out of love.
You will mix a small bowl of pap with 10 cubes of sugar. Or pack sugary drinks, chocolates, and junk inside their school lunchboxes every single day. We are turning their bodies into sugar houses.
Inside that child you are proudly calling healthy and chubby, the heart might be struggling, and the blood pressure rising.
We are punishing a tiny body that is just starting to grow.
Please, let us do better.
- Practice portion control.
- If your child is full, stop forcing them to eat.
- Reduce the sugar drastically, and give them fruits as snacks instead of biscuits and sweets every day.
Your child needs exercise too! It is not always "go inside and sleep" or "sit down and watch cartoon."
Let them run. Let them play. Let us raise a healthier generation. Happy World Obesity Day!
When you were in primary 5, they told you that common entrance was hard. But when you got the opportunity, you wrote it and there was nothing there.
You entered JSS 1 and JSS3 students were making Junior WAEC look like rocket science. You entered JSS 3 and you took the exam. There was nothing there.
In SS 2, SS3 students made WAEC and JAMB look like rocket science. But you got to SS3, took it and passed.
They made University look like rocket science but you entered and passed the exams. Nothing there. They made Medical and Law school look like wall of Jericho. You got there and took it and passed.
People will always try to scare you with what you’ve not attempted. There is nothing there. You just haven’t attempted it. It is not because things are impossible that we do not dare, it is because we do not dare that things are impossible.
I paid to collect my ATM card. Everytime I use the card, I still have to pay for charges. The card is in my possession at owners’s risk because if I lose it, the bank will charge me for replacement.
Yet, I regularly get debited card maintenance. What are you maintaining?
Some people are under pressure now and comparing themselves with others.
If you're seeing N200k a month from Twitter, it is something. Be thankful. Many people dont make that in this country and they have to work 9 to 5 and pay for transport. If you're seeing N500k to N1m, you're doing well.
Don't go comparing yourself to people earning N70m. You can stay motivated without losing contentment. All of us will get there one day.
2026, we go again. It will be a good year
I am leaving Christianity…🙁🙁🙁🙁
Yes, you heard me right. I’ve been wrestling with this for a long time, and today I’m finally letting it out.
I am leaving Christianity because of the following “serious” issues:
I can’t even live my old life in peace anymore. Christianity has ruined it completely.
Anytime I try to tell a simple, innocent lie, the Holy Spirit starts convicting me. Next thing you know, I’m confessing like someone under investigation.
Why is the Holy Spirit always trying to guide me to the right path when all I want is to misbehave in peace?
Why did God become a man to take the punishment I deserve? Who told Him to love me that much?
Why did God humble Himself lower than an angel just because of me? What’s my business? Am I not allowed to stay useless in peace?
Why is God so consistent with His message that He left no loophole for me to find fault? At least make small mistake so I can argue!
Why did Jesus live a sinless life and then tell us to be like Him when I can’t even go 24 hours without sinning? How is that fair?
Why does God want me to love my enemies when I’m still struggling to love myself?
Why did Jesus say “turn the other cheek” when what I really want is to return slap with interest?
Why is God offering me eternal life for free just by believing in Christ? Why can’t I really hard for it? Why so generous?
Why does Christianity want me to stop gossiping and living a hypocritical life when that was literally my talent?
Christianity has made me understand love too much. Now I’m here loving everybody like a malfunctioning robot, help!
It even stripped me of my pride. I used to be proudly proud for no reason. Now I’m humble like someone applying for visa.
Honestly, Christianity must be false, because it has taken away all the nonsense I enjoyed and replaced it with peace, joy, and salvation that I didn’t even work for.
So yes… after deep reflection,
I am officially leaving Christianity… to become a TRUE Christian.
