🚨🇵🇱🇺🇸 Importante: richiamo all’ordine - e al buon senso - da parte degli Stati Uniti nei confronti della Polonia.

Così l’ambasciatore americano a Varsavia, Tom Rose, pochi minuti fa:

“Gli eventi che si stanno verificando questa sera presso il Tribunale costituzionale polacco sono davvero molto gravi. Sembra che stiamo assistendo a uno scontro senza precedenti sull’esercizio del potere statale da parte del governo e sull’indipendenza e l’autorità di un’istituzione costituzionale.

Le due parti forniscono ricostruzioni profondamente diverse di quanto accaduto e delle relative motivazioni. Qualunque cosa venga alla fine accertata, le migliaia di persone che si stanno radunando all’esterno del Tribunale rendono una situazione già pericolosa ancora più esplosiva. L’ultima cosa di cui la Polonia ha bisogno è uno scontro che degeneri in qualcosa di molto peggiore.

Gli americani e il presidente degli Stati Uniti hanno profondamente a cuore questo Paese, la sua democrazia e il suo futuro. Ma la forza della Polonia deve, in ultima analisi, provenire dall’interno: dal suo popolo, dalle sue istituzioni e dal loro comune impegno a favore dello Stato di diritto.

NATO will not fight Russia the way Ukraine has been forced to fight.

Former NATO Military Committee Chairman Admiral Rob Bauer says that if Russia attacks a NATO member, the Alliance will deploy its air force and navy and conduct long-range precision strikes deep inside Russian territory.

NATO possesses strategic bombers, F-35s, F-22s, F-15s and F-16s, capabilities Ukraine was denied for years.

Bauer also stressed that Article 5 is ironclad. NATO's strategy is to block Russian forces, blunt their advance and, if necessary, break their military-industrial and logistical capacity.

Russia must understand one thing: attacking NATO means confronting the combined military power of the Alliance.

Around 760 flights have been delayed or canceled at Moscow airports since late on October 29, according to Russian aviation reports.

Last night, arrivals and departures were restricted at all four Moscow airports - Sheremetyevo, Vnukovo, Domodedovo, and Zhukovsky - due to drone attacks. The restrictions lasted more than nine hours at some airports.

Around 100 aircraft bound for Moscow were diverted to alternate airports.
