You really had a good time when the Franchaela fandom was small and couldn’t push back or call people out, didn’t you? It was much easier to ignore franchaela right?
@brittpop_ Franchaela is like any other ship it was always going to gain fans, both inside and outside the Bridgerton fandom. And like every large fandom, it’s inevitably going to have some toxic people too. So why are we acting like toxicity was invented by Franchaela?
@Paiges_of_Art@lesbianoftheton It won’t flop..but also franchaela season will likely be banned in some homophobic countries, so if the season underperforms, comparing its numbers directly to previous seasons without considering that wouldn’t be fair.
@joenickys They never use scenes from the show to prove she’s bi because they know the show itself doesn’t support their argument. That’s why they keep falling back on that interview which doesn’t even prove it anyway
@thatgirlnoemie@MeBisous If Fran was bi, we wouldn’t need actress interviews to prove it. It should be clear from what’s actually shown on screen. Your entire argument relies on what the actor or actress said outside the show rather than what’s presented in the story itself.
@burkinababee They completely erased Michaela a Black woman and the actual romantic lead, just to force this take…the framing doesn't fit the story at all. They really need to stop reaching and let this man go.
@qqgold14 The moment you start talking about “forced diversity” and how straighter shows are “safer”it stops being just about the adaptation. it starts sounding a lot more like homophobia. Also queer representation doesn’t need to be confined to original stories to be valid👍🏾
Most viewers don’t even know the books exist or know anything about the changes Micha*l widows really think they’re the center of the universe if y’all believe people stopped watching because of Michaela.💀
@whatonnetflix Its because @shondarhimes genderswapped a straight male main character & made him a lesbian because they are too lazy to create new original characters
No one can trust Netflix originals anymore due to their DEI enforcement so why waste time on them
@genyasafinsimp@EmT58777 That’s what I’m trying to understand 😭 If Fran is bi because of John, but she wasn’t attracted to John because “bi people aren’t attracted to every man”then what’s the evidence she’s bi in the first place?😭
@ah_lectora@pianofrante So Fran is bisexual, but they decided to make it seem like she isn’t sexually attracted to her husband, then had her stumbling over herself the moment she met his cousin. For what? Does that mean John was the issue?
@sparklesreality Who told you Eloise was season 5? Do you work at Netflix or Shondaland? Lmao. And didn’t you literally say “she’s shoved down our throats” earlier? Now you’re saying you don’t care about her screentime 🙄 So which one is it?
