this is not even my first lispector (that was "the passion of the g.h." which my GOATED comparative lit professor gave us to read in my freshman year of uni) but it feels like it is, i still find her style so fresh and interesting
hilarious to tell your sister (who you have rumors of incest with) about an historical figure who allegedly had an incestous relationship with her brother
i would say i can't wait for exam season to end so i can go back to reading for pleasure but i know damn well that won't be happening anytime soon, being an english major and all 😭 i am excited for next year's assigned readings though
and also i hope i'll be able to squeeze in a summer read in august ! maybe finish calligarich's "last summer in the city" which i put on hold last year, since i'm a mood reader and the idea of reading a summer book in autumn sends a shiver down my spine
