In the 2019 AFCON qualifier vs Kenya, 4 Ghanaian footballers faced bans after orders by team officials (allegedly) to skip mandatory post-match doping tests.
@GhanaBlackstars may face a similar challenge, as they start their #WorldCup campaign.
Hereโs what we should know โฌ๏ธ๐งต
@IhejirikaS48939@toniii_lee92 The two players who create chances donโt have to be your two wingers. It can be one creative winger and a midfielder. In our current team an attack of Barcola Alvarez Lamine isnโt better than Raphinha Alvarez Lamine. Even though Barcola is more self sufficient.
@IhejirikaS48939 You can get wingers who can break down teams like Doku but donโt maximize Lamine or our attacking output or you can go for a runner like Raphinha ie Gordon whoโs already shown us that mixing that profile with Lamine works. A self sufficient Raphinha isnโt on the market.
@IhejirikaS48939 Pedro was not self sufficient, he could beat a man when needed same as Gordon but his game was built on being a runner, great off the ball. We donโt need another magician. In an ideal world we need a runner who is self sufficient to maximize Lamine. There isnโt one in the market
The reason why fans rate players very badly is because they are ignorant of the constraints of football.
They do not know what it takes to be a professional, what it takes to perform for 90 minutes, what it takes to make an impact against other professionals and to do it all at a Premier League level.
How many players have the pace that Gordon has in behind?
How many of them are also comfortable with the ball in central areas like him?
How many of them have a nose for goal? How many of them are under 26?
How many of them have been performing at the highest level regularly?
How many of them have shown the physical durability that he has?
There is only one u-26 winger in the world that answers all of this favourably. His name? Vinicius Junior.
