@holygrailrose @MKBHD - Content creators are not (usually) C-suite.
- C-suite have a separate phone for business, usually given by the company.
- C-suite es so busy to think about a color. They think of utility.
- it’s 2025, none is going to be watching their phone color.
@iBeckTech@X Everyone. Is a widespread bug. It only affects if you use X in landscape mode in the iPad. You your iPad is in portrait (vertical) mode you can still use the app.
@hoffmang@X Interesting. I always use my iPad in landscape so I didn’t notice that it works in portrait mode, but as soon as you turn the iPad it crashes.
@OIDN55@9to5mac@filipeesposito Yes. And that vendetta harms everyone. Meta could get more active users, more usage time, engagement, which translate in a more powerful platform for marketing, and for Apple it would help them sell more iPads for compatibility, and we customers would be happier.
@epicchris1985 @9to5mac@filipeesposito It’s the main messaging app on gen Z in the US. So they have potential to retain them and grow their audience for future generations.
@OIDN55@9to5mac@filipeesposito But I least this one, that was unexpected, gives us hope. Meta need to hurry if they want to catch up. They prioritize working in avatares, communities, etc, things that customers are not asking. I think they don’t know their customers well, in a quality manner.
@thehmjournal Other limitation is that it doesn’t support multi-device logs/notifications. I got logged out from my iPhone when I was using it on my iPad.
It is weird since I read that android does support multi-device.
@jonah_manzano Snapchat still needs to add Landscape mode compatibility on the iPad
And multi-device logs/notifications, to use it in both iPad and iPhone.
@iChris Snapchat still needs to add Landscape mode compatibility as most of us use the iPad horizontally, attached to a keyboard. Even apple changed the camera position because of this.
And multi-device logs/notifications. I was logged out of my iPhone when using it on the iPad.
@Greygoh@instagrameng Great milestone! It’d be even better if the app supported:
- Landscape mode for iPads (most use them horizontally with keyboards, even Apple moved the camera because of this).
- Multi-device logs/notifications (I got logged out of my iPhone while using it on my iPad).
