That statement expresses God's extent of love in spite knowing the entire journey of humanity. Despite knowing that you will question his infinite wisdom and lead many others astray, he still chose to give you the privilege to live as his image and likeness
That's love to a fault
In Malachi (3:6), God says “I do not change.”
But in Genesis (6:6), it says God regretted creating humans.
So here’s the question:
How can an unchanging being experience regret, which implies a change in feeling, perspective or decision?
For this, James 2:24 had a context that was made understandable in the verses that came before 24 and it's simply that faith without works is dead, read other verses for context
Romans 3:28 was letting us know that your salvation is not based on your merits so no man should boast
In James (2:24), it says a person is justified by works and not by faith alone.
But in Romans (3:28), Paul the Apostle says a person is justified by faith apart from works of the law.
So here’s the question:
Which one is it? Are people saved by faith alone or by faith plus works?
