Can an old rook learn new tricks? 🐦‍⬛

Meet Leo, the rook who follows human voice commands – just like a dog.

Cambridge researchers found that Leo could learn 3 commands by sound alone, without relying on gestures or lip movements. And he wasn't the only one – two other rooks picked it up too.

This suggests that animals don't need domestication to follow our voices – some species may simply use their natural communication skills.

@auggyeggs @TraumaSoapBoxes If it makes you feel any better my removal was much faster and hurt less than placement :) I had a lidocaine shot for both and the pulling out was much less uncomfortable than it being pushed in, then just the opening a little sore like a small cut when cooking
