So ... all change, tomorrow I start a permie job with Intechnica after 15 years of contracting.
I love these guys, I still get the variety from looking at other companies during due diligence, and I can be part of something and have all those opportunities available to me
The strange thing about mental health is I often don't know why I'm feeling low, or even that I am feeling low, until it passes. Then it's suddenly really obvious
Starting to get annoyed by this, just seen a job spec listing these benefits:
- Annual leave
- Bank holidays off
- Break over Christmas & New Year
- Pension
THESE ARE NOT BENEFITS
TechLead job specs often mention mentoring junior team members.
Does anyone work where this function has been elevated into a role of it's own?
Furthermore, has anyone any resources on mentoring juniors that they could link me to?
