what happened with mtn and stanbic yesterday will happen again because we've regulators that don't care
'cause why doesn't mtn momo have a disaster recovery site?
how can a leadin' mobile money provider not anticipate that their only data center could've critical issues one day?
why doesn't bou have a mandated minimum availability target of at least 99.99%?
that's about 53 minutes of downtime per year
safaricom's m-pesa has a mandated system availability of 99.999%, that's roughly 5 minutes of downtime per year
anythin' beyond that, safaricom would be heavily penalized
here, our core infrastructure can go offline for hours with barely any communication from service providers until enough people talk about it
the regulators do not care whether the public incurs losses because there are no meaningful penalties for prolonged outages
mtn and stanbic get to walk away unscathed while businesses are countin' losses
and the funny bit is, the taxman doesn't care either..
@DavidHundeyin@VusiThembekwayo Whereas there could be some small level of bots , there are many videos of disturbing events against immigrants. Let’s not pretend about it or downplay it.
Hearty congratulations to our Ainembabazi Lynnette upon her graduation from LDC.

@TheMutaD The hard part is that are those who hold dual citizenship willing to come out and declare. Technically, we would expect that the appointing authority has done the necessary due diligence to ensure that every name complies with the law .
You pay for WakaNet: a 30-day subscription that's down five days a month with no compensation and 24-hour customer resolution periods. @mtnug@sylmulinge, you need to do better on that front really.
@PNvigyi@barigyepaulo3@mtnug@sylmulinge Man @mtnug WakaNet fiber has one of the worst customer turn around time and subcontractors who don't care. Their Internet has become so unstable and they don't want to compensate.

To the very first individuals to empower ambition, the mothers!
Happy Mother’s Day.
