This is not just a story, it’s a cry for justice.

Pa John Aya is 90 years old, blind, and one of the oldest living pensioners from Akwa Ibom. He served this country faithfully from 1962 to 1989, yet today he is denied the pension that is rightfully his all because of a failed documentation system.

We’ve written to the Cross River Basin Development Authority, but their emails bounce back and their phone lines don’t go through. The system is silent, but we won’t be.
