Very happy with a great response to our new book, ARRIVE. Lots of new discussions connecting Design Thinking to strategic innovation. A good time for more of this.
@GalvinMary You could excuse sub-optimal decisions in a crisis, but not here because there are much better solutions available. it's the first, conscious big mistake.
Very sensible comments by @carlobrien in today's @IrishTimes. "We are not all suited to traditional academic approaches. Apprenticeships, for example, offer excellent “earn and learn” options." https://t.co/jhhXeGYagf
#IRDG#Broadlake wonderful being back in @wearebroadlake for Day 1 of new Design Thinking Masterclass - I think this is our best one ever! 13 teams: 45 participants! The venue never ceases to inspire.
"Design thinking allows you to combine creative and critical thinking." @frankdevitt on the best practices for innovation (and for life) @rss_rcsi#SIC18
1/ A picture is worth a thousand words. And to me, an x-y is worth a million. Here are some things I believe to be true based on my experience as a CEO and investor. Some or all may be completely wrong.
I’m pretty sure the products & services we’re building today are far more sophisticated & nuanced than milkshakes & candy bars.
Yet, many examples used in Jobs To Be Done method descriptions are only those.
Frankly, it’s a bit weird.
And makes it hard to get behind it.
