Hey @Ticketmaster@ChicagoBears, kinda BS that I login at 10am for training camp tix, only 215 people in the queue, and all tickets are sold out for the day I picked! Tried for another day, and guess what, all sold out too!! Gonna have two disappointed kiddos when I get home.
Random prediction for funsies but I think Ian Cunningham gets the GM job in Washington after they clean house and the Bears end up trading #1 to Washington
Keep JF1, trade the pick for a haul! Just play the game like last year and get a kings randoms from one of those QB needy teams (WA or NE). Stay in the top 3 for MHJ!!
Alright...let's have some fun here with a crazy "How The #Bears make the playoffs situation in 2023".
To start:
-Bears are (4-8) and .500 in their last 8 games
-Defense has become a top-10 unit overall
-Offense has become a top-20 unit overall
-Remaining schedule is ranked 19th (Not terrible)
Remaining Games:
WK 13: BYE
WK 14: DET (8-3)
WK 15: @ CLE (7-4)
WK 16: AZ (2-10)
WK 17: ATL (5-6)
WK 18: @ GB (5-6)
Now, here is the storyline
-WK 13: GB loses to KC (5-7), bringing CHI within a game
-WK 14: MIN loses to LV (Bears own tiebreaker since they beat LV), GB/CHI win. MIN is now (6-7), GB (6-7), CHI (5-8). Yes, CHI can beat DET @ home.
-WK 15: MIN loses to CIN, now (6-8). GB loses to TB, now (6-8). MIN is now (6-8), GB (6-8), CHI (6-8).
-WK 16: MIN lose to DET. GB/CHI win. MIN is now (6-9), GB (7-8), CHI (7-8).
-WK 17: MIN lose to GB. CHI win. MIN is now (6-10), GB (8-8), CHI (8-8).
-WK 18: MIN is OUT. GB vs. CHI in GB, which is now practically a playoff game. CHI rides the hot streak and wins in GB to enter the playoffs on a WC.
DET did something similar last year, who Chicago almost just beat this year, on the road.
WHY NOT? ๐ปโฌ๏ธ
Trade away the #1 overall pick for another haul even greater than the @idjmoore one! Give the 5th year option to JF1, Draft MHJ to pair with DJ, keep building up that defense and OL, and upgrade your HC, OC and DC!! #BearDown@CarmenDeFalco@WaddleandSilvy@danorlovsky7
If Matt Eberflus is retained as Bears head coach, I'm totally out as a Bears fan, so it's doubtful that I would remain a fan of them, but let's give it a little more time and see where I'm at, but I'm definitely out.
Despite an 0-3 start, the #Panthers are looking to build, not rebuild. Sources say theyโve been in the market for a WR, among other positions.
