The Simpson County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that it received a bomb threat on Simpson County Schools this morning. Officers conducted a search of the schools following the threat. A photo of a possible suspect vehicle was included in the release. See the release below:

A shooting took place at Garvin Pointe Apartments on Eddings Road this morning in Franklin. The FPD is working the crime scene and have detained a suspect, according to the Simpson County Sheriff's Office. For a brief time, area factories and businesses were advised to lockdown.
