They will be in and out of the lineup, might score a big goal or win a fight occasionally, but doubtful any of them ever play regular minutes, at least in MTL.

@_JordanDecker I know being critical of moves/non moves is part of being a fan but, for the most part, Hughes/Gorton have built this team from within. I'm sure there are numerous conversations going on that fans and media are not aware of and, if/when the price is right, Hughes will trade.

@CFC_JB_ @DemidovHabs I think some Habs fans are aiming too big... I'm not sure you get a Thomas or Hischier without giving up a piece of the corre in return. Just get a solid centre who can score 15-20, win draws and. most importantly feed the puck to #20/#93 on the 2nd line.

@Doobyscoo1234 @the_habitant I maintain they don't need to add superstars... they need a winger who can dig pucks out and score a few to play with #14/#13 and then need a solid centre, good passer who can win draws to play with #20/#93. Just add solid/unspectacular pieces to those two duos.

@futurdgduCH Mike... les discussions entre fans de différentes équipes est inutile quand ça vient aux échanges. Va voir sur PuckPedia, c'est incroyable les obstinations qui existent sur des échanges que les clubs de la LNH feraient jamais.

@face_of_bear @htrickkane9 The larger point is that Matthews and Nylander have no-movement clauses so the Leafs can't trade them unless the player signs off. Example... Oilers could offer McDavid straight up for Matthews but Matthews can say no, I'm not moving to EDM and Leafs can't do anything about it.

@face_of_bear @htrickkane9 What no one seems to mention is that Nylander, Matthews, Rielly, Tavares and even Tanev have no movement clauses, they are not getting traded unless they approve the trade which means they also get to pick where they are traded. Tough for the GM to work magic in that situation.

Mais, ils devront règler des trous dans leur Top 6 pour devenir un candidat à la Coupe a moins que Dobes leur permet de gagner toutes sortes de match 2-1 ou 3-2.

@huguesfoucher1 @futurdgduCH Hugues... por vraiment se tailler une place durable dans le 1er échelon de la ligue il faut compléter les duos #13/#14 avec un ailier et un centre pour #20/#93. Pas besoins de super-vedette mes des joueurs fiables pour éviter ce qui est arrivé contre Tampa.

@PuckDontLie Yeah... but in three years, if McKenna is as good as he is supposed to be... he'll be the one making $11 mil. I'm not trying to rain on your parade Tom, I'm 56 and none of my friends who are Leafs have ever won a Cup so I hope it happens I'm just saying it still will not be easy.
