THINKING BETWEEN DEBTS AND LIVES 💔
I never thought i would become this person.
Standing in front of a tiny lives on the street and instead of immediately grabbing her to safety, i stood there and thought.
I thought about my vet debts.
I thought about the back-to-back rescue cases.
I thought about how painfully slow donations have become.
I thought about how hard i have to beg just to raise even a small amount.
I thought about how people may already be tired of seeing my fundraising.
And then i looked at this tiny soul again.
DEBTS OR LIVES?
This is NOT me.
The old me would never even take one second to think. When saw a tiny kitten alone in the middle of the road like this, i would grab first. Secure the life first. Think about everything else later.
Who will pay the vet?
Where will I put her?
Who will help me?
Those questions used to come after the rescue.
But today, those questions came before i could even pick her up.
And that broke something inside me.
Because this is what being overwhelmed by rescue has done to me.
Not bcs i care less.
But bcs i am carrying so many lives already, while struggling every single day to find enough help to keep them alive.
Fundraising is not something i enjoy doing.
I don't wake up wanting to beg people for money.
Every appeal i post is bcs somewhere behind that post is an animal who needs treatment, food, boarding, medication or simply a chance to stay alive.
And lately, asking for help has become so difficult that even seeing another tiny lives in danger scares me.
Not bcs i don't want to save her.
Bcs i don't know if i can afford to save another lives
Imagine how painful it is for a rescuer to reach this point.
To stand in front of a helpless baby and have to think between DEBTS AND LIVES.
I hate that rescue has brought me to this moment.
I HATE THIS!!! 😭😭😭
Bcs no tiny soul should be left on the street simply bcs the person who stopped for her is already drowning trying to save the others 💔
it’s always fascinating to see malay men’s obsession with this piece of cloth, tudung or hijab, it is almost like they want to wear them themselves. and the logical fallacies when explaining their positions, pandemonium. go on, say more.
cis queers complaining about the uptick of lesbophobia, biphobia etc on this app don’t realize it’s bc they’ve neglected to proactively address transmisogyny

This is a ridiculous offer and severely downplays the human worth of a DJ. Considering how this will likely involve signing away your likeness for the unforeseeable future, RM2,000 is a pathetic sum to offer.
