If your spouse does not trust you and they are always suspicious of you, you need to read this ...
1. Suspicion doesn't come from paranoia, it comes from patterns. People don't just wake up and start doubting you; your behavior gives them reasons to.
2. You can't demand trust while living suspiciously. Trust is earned, not begged for. If your lifestyle/actions contradicts your words, your words will mean nothing.
3. Every secret you keep is a seed of mistrust. It may look harmless now, but secrets always grow into walls that divide you & your partner.
4. The more you hide, the more your spouse imagines. The human mind fills in blanks and what it imagines is often worse than reality, so you better stop hiding things from your spouse. if you are not open or transparent, your spouse will imagine things or overthink things.
5. Lying to your spouse is not just deception. it is emotional violence. It makes them question their sanity, memory, and worth. If you want trust, you cannot be lying.
6. Suspicion is often a reflection of inconsistent behavior. People feel unsafe when your words and actions don't match. So stop complaining of the suspicion, start being consistent & truthful.
7. Once trust is broken, love alone can't fix it. It takes humility, time, brutal honesty and transparency to rebuild, not just mere apology.
8. When you become secretive, your spouse becomes investigative. Their snooping isn't the problem, your secrecy is. 👈🏽 Read that again.
learn to be okay on your own. people can love you, support you and show up for you but you should still know how to pick yourself up, enjoy your own company and keep going when no one is around
I’ve never thought of myself as important enough for anyone to lie to me. When someone tells me something, I simply believe them because I genuinely assume they have no reason to lie to me. This has literally been my life 😭.
Something a friend taught me a long time ago: your friends and family shouldn’t find out about your important milestones via social media. You owe them the exclusivity of hearing it directly first. If strangers find out the same time as friends, what then makes friends special?
And when the topic is about supportive mothers who would do absolutely anything and make sacrifices for their children, I will scream my mother’s name from the rooftops!!!!!!
Examples of micro-cheating:
• Flirting with someone you’re attracted to
• Deleting chats so your partner won’t see them
• Having a “work wife/husband” you’re overly intimate with
• Maintaining a secret connection with an ex
• Entertaining someone you know wants you
I'm really just a blessed person. The load gets heavy. I get tired. But then God takes over & I find the strength again & I keep getting better. That's really just how the story goes.
The hardest part of unemployment is watching life move on while you feel stuck. Having to ask for money, explain your situation, and keep believing in yourself when rejection after rejection makes you question your worth.
Recently my boundaries were tested and Im happy I didnt negotiate. I just left it at “I don’t like how you make me feel, and if you won’t consider my feelings I will” bc I at the end of the day I really don’t have to put up with a single thing I don’t like, especially repeatedly.
No matter how carefully you hide an affair, if it’s done to a loyal partner, God will always find a way to help her find out even without trying anything.
really grateful for the gift of life. grateful i get to live the life i’m living. grateful that God keeps showing me how good it can get and He’ll never stop. grateful for the love in my life and the love all around me.
I want to practice grace without becoming naive. I can forgive you, hope you grow, and still remember what happened well enough to make wiser decisions next time.
Trust your waiting season. Waiting faithfully can be painful at times, that’s normal. It can make you wonder if you’ve somehow been forgotten. But God has never forgotten you. Waiting is proof that He’s protecting you from something that looked good but is not for your highest good. You see today, but God sees ten years from now
