Replacing @dependabot by @renovatebot in our Gitlab repositories today.
Dependabot is cool and I still use it on Github, but for Gitlab repositories Renovate is much better. It automatically rebases MR with conflicts, it updates same Docker images even in .gitlab-ci.yml. Try it!

After a year working heavily with Java and Kotlin. Kotlin is awesome, but still new and a lot of libraries are quite wonky. Most of the stuff in Java world is solid, but even maintained libraries have websites looking like they weren't changed since 2000...
