@mattlodder I’m always torn between: make it easier for them but also give ppl a challenge and the satisfaction of getting something you worked hard for. It’s a fine line I guess :/

@mattlodder I think it took me half of my undergrad to actually get the gist of it? Also: here in GER a lot of students just start something they might be interested in and then come across difficulties I guess and give up? I don’t know about the differences to the Uk, tho! :)

@mattlodder Most of my initial answers were already stated - work/amount etc., but also: as a fist gen academic I really had to lern how to read those kind of texts and even tho I’m a fast reader and always loved reading, I was really really slow in not only reading but understanding texts
