It's been 2 weeks now since my mom died. I think all the time how to give this whole thing more meaning. Something to honour her by.

Mom mom died Oct 5th (NZ time) on a Friday. 1 week after I left. She was buried on Oct 9th (NZ) on Tuesday. My best friend will be missed.

Guess who is back in Auckland. ME. That's right, I'm back in NZ. I will be leaving here in about 3 hours and heading home. What a trip. Love

Now in Phoenix and going to board shortly for Los Angeles

Saturday. Wifi on plane. How cool. Drinking bourbon and coke at 8:50am. I had to because I had a free coupon. Happy to be in the way.

Saturday. Boarding plane for Vegas. I'm coming home. Love to all

Friday. Mom sleeping. They doubled her morphine pills to 60mg 3x per day so she is really knocked out. But at least no pain for her.

Thursday. Mom sleeping most of the time. I'm starting pre-packing & cleaning of apartment I am staying at (moms old place). Soon B home

Wednesday. It was a day of ups & downs then up again. Started packing for my trip home. I'll be sad to leave but I am worn down & it is time

Tuesday. All fine. Mom mostly sleeping. I overdid it last night but that means that I slept the night through. It's a quiet day. Take care

Monday. Mom was great today. She had Ben and I in stitches laughing. I went to bens ranch and had a good time there. I shot skeet. Take care

Sunday. Had a hard morning with Mom. She lost lost the plot for a bit. Going to bens ranch tomorrow and will be off line. Love to all. Fj

Thursday. Took aunt Judy to airport at 5:00am. Also, bens birthday is today and will have dinner w/ him later. Mom is the same. Love to all

Wednesday. A 'Father' from a local catholic church came in to give her the last rights. So if God wants her then I guess she's ready to go.

Tuesday here. Been here just over 6 days. Feels a lot longer. No news to report. All is the same. Is hot outside. Missing cool air of NZ.
