That is the planetary emergency.

Mario Roggero, the Italian man sentenced to 14 years in prison by Italian justice for chasing down and killing two of the three robbers who attacked his jewelry store.

This is his face after one of the countless robberies he endured over the years.

During the assaults, Mario was savagely beaten by the robbers. His wife and daughter were threatened with death. His daughter later said she thought she was going to die that day. She suffered severe psychological trauma, nightmares for months, constantly looking over her shoulder whenever she left the house. It took her months to even begin to recover.

In the 2015 robbery, Mario was brutally beaten. His wife was also attacked, the violence was so extreme that her hair was ripped from her scalp. Mario was repeatedly struck with the butt of a pistol, suffering three broken ribs, a fractured nasal septum, and a severe shoulder injury. He was tied up while bleeding out.

A Bruxelles serve un elettrauto, non un altro piano energetico

La Commissione Europea continua a scambiare un vettore energetico per una fonte di energia. Ed è questo l’errore di fondo dell’Electrification Action Plan presentato il 17 luglio.

L’obiettivo è trasformare in vincolante il target di elettrificazione, portando la quota dell’elettricità nei consumi finali dal 23,4% del 2024 al 32% entro il 2030, con un ulteriore target legale al 2040. Sulla carta sembra ambizioso. Nella pratica manca la domanda più banale: quell’elettricità da dove arriva?

L’elettricità non è una fonte. È un vettore. Le fonti sono gas, carbone, nucleare, idroelettrico, sole e vento. Puoi elettrificare anche il 100% dei consumi, ma se per produrre quell’elettricità continui a bruciare gas e carbone non hai risolto il problema: lo hai semplicemente spostato.

L’Italia è il caso più evidente. Il consumo energetico complessivo supera i 1.300 TWh, mentre l’elettricità rappresenta poco più di 300 TWh. Di questi, circa 50 arrivano dalla Francia, 50 dall’idroelettrico e circa 50 da fotovoltaico ed eolico. Il resto viene prodotto principalmente con gas e, in misura residuale, carbone.

In altre parole, la parte realmente generata con nuove fonti rinnovabili rimane limitata rispetto al fabbisogno energetico complessivo del Paese. E questo dopo oltre 200 miliardi di euro di incentivi e investimenti enormi nelle reti.

Lo ha ricordato anche Claudio Descalzi in audizione alla Camera: dal 2005 la rete elettrica italiana è passata da 35.000 a 76.000 chilometri. La Regulatory Asset Base è salita da 5 a 25 miliardi di euro. Eppure l’energia trasportata è scesa da 340 a 311 TWh. Più rete, molto più capitale investito, ma meno elettricità movimentata. Un dato che dovrebbe far riflettere chi continua a pensare che basti aggiungere cavi per risolvere il problema energetico.

La realtà è che una rete elettrica deve essere continuamente bilanciata. E in un sistema come quello italiano il bilanciamento continua a dipendere soprattutto dal gas. Se sale il prezzo del gas, sale inevitabilmente anche il prezzo dell’elettricità.

Bruxelles continua invece a fissare obiettivi di elettrificazione come se il problema fosse esclusivamente aumentare la domanda di elettricità. Ma senza affrontare il nodo della produzione, della programmabilità e della sicurezza del sistema, quei target rischiano di trasformarsi in esercizi burocratici scollegati dalla fisica.

Per capire questo non servono commissioni di esperti né modelli matematici sofisticati. Basta distinguere una fonte energetica da un vettore. A Bruxelles, più che un altro piano strategico, servirebbe un bravo elettrauto.

Le cose sono molto semplici e vanno affrontate oggettivamente: 14 anni sono troppi considerato tutto il contesto e la vicenda e se la magistratura ha ritenuto che siano adeguati la politica deve correggere la legge; 3 milioni complessivi di risarcimento alle famiglie dei ladri sono un orrore civile che deve essere in ogni modo scongiurato ed annullato sin da ora.
Tutto il resto è demone della dialettica.

The most medicated, most vaccinated, and most chronically ill population in history has a living control group sitting right inside its borders — and the results are brutal for the current model.

Amish and Mennonite communities still grow, raise, and prepare nearly everything they eat on their own land. Fresh meat, eggs, raw milk, butter, lard, garden vegetables, and real grains cooked from scratch. Their bodies move all day — farming, building, hauling, walking behind horses. And they have largely stayed outside the childhood vaccine schedule and the daily pharmaceutical pipeline that now defines American life.

Outside those communities, millions of people — including many in middle age — take five, eight, or more than ten prescription drugs every single day. Blood pressure pills, statins, diabetes medications, antidepressants, anti-inflammatories, acid reducers… the list keeps growing while the people taking them keep getting sicker. New chronic conditions appear faster than the old ones can be managed. Autoimmune disorders, allergies, metabolic disease, and constant fatigue have become normal.

Inside these traditional communities, vibrant health is the default. Strong bodies, clear skin, bright eyes, and kids who play and work hard without the constant doctor visits or medication schedules that mark modern childhood and adulthood. Dramatically lower rates of the chronic illnesses that now dominate the rest of the country.

They didn’t design a study. They simply refused to participate in the great experiment of replacing real food and natural living with processed everything and pharmaceutical intervention at every turn. Same country. Same air and water nearby. The only consistent differences are whole foods from the soil and bodies that still do real work — plus the near-absence of the vaccine-and-pill approach sold as essential.

The vaccines were never required for the health these communities actually display. The drugs aren’t fixing what the modern lifestyle created. Real food and real movement are quietly delivering the vibrant, resilient health that endless prescriptions have failed to restore for so many.

They didn’t set out to embarrass anyone. They just kept doing what humans did for most of history — and accidentally became the clearest control group we have.
