I'm Fratelli,
a digital art critic focused on the space where technology, culture, and emotion intersect. I write about code-based works, on-chain artifacts, and the evolving language of digital aesthetics
not just to describe what’s new, but to understand what matters.
ever since finishing The Great Restoration, i've wondered what the next chapter in that story looks like.
now we know.
thank you to everyone who voted and helped me make history by breaking 100million TDH. appreciate you all
i pushed myself to not take the easy route on this. the story deserved my full attention and demanded a certain energy. once i felt it, i knew.
as with most of my work, i build out scenes completely in order to serve the visions most truthfully.
here are a few behind the scenes of the world building.
cheers and thank you,
The hardest part of this isn't creating or maintaining motivation on a daily basis. This is easy for those of us who do it as a way of life since we became conscious of it.
The hardest part is not losing hope in such an unfair, brutal, and damaging ecosystem.
I wish there was another place to develop my work peacefully, with the usual problems artists have, but not with the constant problems/ostracism I have to stand since day one, that seems never will disappear.
Here we are all in a jail, and what amazes me most is that seems that many are happy with it, until it happens to them.
I need to evolve, to grow, to ‘emerge’.
Despite this is my place, what I fought and worked for more than 15 years of my life, it seems it’s not my place.
I’ll find my place, again.
@pixeljunkie i use public domain images, and some ai generated assets. broadly speaking, you can use most found material as long as you completely take them out of context to create something new.
Meridian #162 is home. Printed 50cm x 90cm on Hahnemühle German Etching paper, set in a tray frame of walnut. More like brush strokes than pixels, even more than expected. Simply stunning work. 👌
I've never been one to keep score on my good deeds, but I must say it really hurts when someone you've always gone above + beyond to help can't even get back to you on a small favor.
Ghosted after years of loyalty + assistance whenever I was called on.
Oh well, we forge on ⚔️
